Orgasm Tracker for Women

March 18, 2015 By Dan Rosenbaum

Symbol man woman question exclamation mark ask answerLet’s try to be grown-ups here, OK? We all know about fitness trackers, and we’ve seen articles about various kinds of interactive women’s underwear. Now here’s a company that’s using sensor technology — admittedly not wearable, but still — to track female sexual response.

SmartBod, the product of a couple of entrepreneurs out of UC Berkeley, is a vibrator that tracks and adapts to a woman’s sexual response. (Of course, there’s a companion app.) More than that, it shares the data. From mic.com:

Designed like a wearable fitness device, the SmartBod is a silicone vibrator linked to an app that tracks pleasure using internal sensors. Charting arousal and orgasms, the device will be able to learn what a woman likes, detect meaningful trends and make suggestions from the data.

Hey, data. People may not like taking suggestions about sex, but who can argue with data?
