Fossil Announces Long-Awaited Trackers and Android Wear Watch

October 21, 2015 By Dan Rosenbaum

Fossil QAs long expected, Fossil announced an Android Wear smartwatch today, as well as three fitness trackers.

The Fossil Q line comprises four models: the Reveler, the Dreamer, the Grant, and the Founder:

The Reveler and Dreamer are display-less fitness trackers and notification devices, which vibrate and show LED lights when triggered. The Dreamer has swappable bands. Both sell for $125 and will be available October 25.

The Grant is a conventional-looking round-faced watch that tracks activity and will vibrate and light LEDs as a notification device. It will sell for $175 to $195 and be available October 25.

The Founder is an Android Wear watch, complete with the standard “flat tire” that hides the light sensor. Pricing of that will start at $275 and will be available “just in time for the holiday season,” the company said.

All will connect with a Fossil smartphone app; activity data will sync with Google Fit, Apple Health, Jawbone UP, and Under Armour’s UA Record.
