Glass in the Film World

Google has apparently seeded Glass in several academic film programs as an experiment in storytelling.  There’s an interesting piece in the International Digital Times about how CalArts and the UCLA Film school are progressing. The big reveals happen in March and will probably be worth checking out; expect something between “Laser Cats” and Star Wars.

    That article said nothing at all. Other than Google has seeded a couple art schools with Glass, it seems no one has any experience nor direct feedback about how Glass is being used. And very few ideas about how it could be used. Surely someone is getting creative? Maybe not.

      I think we’ll have to wait until senior projects come due in March to see what the students come up with. I’m not all that hopeful, but I enjoy being surprised on the up side…
