There’s not a ton of overlap between the worlds of gaming and wearable tech, which is why you’re not reading much here about the big E3 trade show. But the PC gaming company Razer is trying out a notification band, kind of like a cross between a Pebble and a Fuelband.
The Razer Nabu was announced this winter at CES, and like many CES-announced products, is only now sneaking onto the market. Developers are already being seeded, and it’s time for actual users to get their hands on them. If you’re an enthusiastic Razer users and want to join the beta program (which means actually using the product and writing up reports and being active on social media), you need to sign up and hope you’ll be one of 500 people picked on July 10. If you’re selected, it’ll cost you $1.
