Wearable Tech Insider

The Inside Word on Wearables and Wearable Technology

will.i.am Intros the Puls Wearable

October 15, 2014 By Dan Rosenbaum

For an enterprise-oriented show, there sure has been a ton of buzz over what kind of wearable the singer will.i.am will introduce — and why it’s coming out at Dreamforce.

The product is called the Puls. It’s a cuff-style wristband with a very cool curved screen. Pictures from the initial handout are a little hard to distinguish, but it appears to use a touch screen of some time, and can cycle though a watchface, Twitter, Salesforce, Instagram, calendar, maps, a phone interface, Instagram, Facebook, and texts.

Why Dreamforce and Salesforce? We’re guessing that the band will have community features built in much as Neil Young’s Pono music player does — and it’s not coincidence that that part of Pono is driven by Salesforce, too.

We’ll update as we learn more — including decent pictures and tech specs, if any are announced.
