CES: Withings Activité Pop Smartwatch

January 4, 2015 By Dan Rosenbaum

Pop-3-4 face-compo-HDWithings pretty much created a high-price segment for the smartwatch business last year with its $450 Activité watch. At CES, the company has now moved to claim a piece of the value market with a $150 Activité Pop.

The original Activité is an elegant timepiece with a dial that tells what percentage of your daily fitness goal you’ve achieved. The Pop uses essentially the same design but comes in with more colorful and less-premium materials. Both models use a watch battery that runs for about 8 months, the company said.

The Pop is available immediately in “very limited quantities” at Bestbuy.com. It’ll be available in retail stores and more widely online in March.
