No big surprise with the first deliveries slated for tomorrow, but Apple has taken the wraps off the Watch App Store, which is part of the Watch iOS app. The Wall Street Journal reports that there are about 3,000 apps available. Ars Technica points out that there’s no apparent way to search for a watch app, which is a bit odd. And Buzzfeed has a list of Apple’s own app picks.
In the meantime, there’s word that some people, told initially that they’d have to wait until late May or June for their watches, are now being informed that their orders are already being processed for shipping. Also, it seems that a limited number of Apple Watches will be available in luxury retail stores around the world (although not in the U.S.) starting Friday.
We imagine that there’ll be a flood of ecstatic and/or despairing stories tomorrow about how people love/hate their new watches, or got/missed deliveries, or whatever. We’ll pass along the relevant ones, which we expect will be few and far between.
