The existence of ASUS’s next smartwatch leaked out a few months ago; now there are some more details about what the ZenWatch 2 will actually be.
The watch, according to AnandTech, will be a rectangular-faced Android Wear device and come in two sizes: about 50mm and 45mm tall. That’s bigger than the Apple Watch, although the actual display is smaller on the ZenWatch. It will have 4GB of onboard memory, be powered by a Qualcomm’s APQ 8026 SoC, and have either a 300mAh or a 250mAh battery with an expected life of between 2 and 3 days between recharge.
Each model will come with one of three different straps — fabric, leather, or metal. Availability is expected in October for prices starting at about 150 euros.
